Chretin's Mexican Food

We stopped here on our way to Tucson from San Diego It was a really nice pit stop at this place. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. We shared delicious plate. And we got sat socially distanced. We got to check out the ceiling full of plaques that named mostly military who accomplished eating a spicy bowl of salsa or a giant plate of nachos, it was fun.

This was my first visit at Chretin's Mex restaurant. They've got a great menu selection. My mom had the caldo de rez (beef soup), I had menudo, my wife had carne asada (grilled beef) tacos. My sister had tacitos and my brother in law had beef tacos. Plus there's a cart rolling around where they're offering guacamole. We got a large guac. Everything was super delicious. I'd consider the soup servings were in a medium size bowl. My only critique is, I would have liked it if the tripe meat in the menudo was cut in smaller bite sizes.

I would give a 4 start because of the friendly waitress very attentive, just moved to Yuma and I'm exploring places to eat thus was my first choice, food was not original Mexican food. The sauce for the chips taste very blend no flavor they should better served with some pico de Gallo. I ordered mix fajitas and tge tortillas were small and not good quality home made tortillas were more like supermarket tortillas. The hosts should be a little friendly and should smile too young and she was more attentive to a younger coworker than guests. I might give it another shot because of the strawberry frozen margarita 🍹 😋 was really good.
