Carleton and Sons Landscaping

We couldn’t be happier with the work from Carleton & Sons Landscaping. Bob runs the kind of old‑school, no‑nonsense operation that’s getting harder to find — honest, steady, and deeply skilled. He walked our property, understood exactly what needed to happen, and delivered with zero drama. Joe and Scott were just as impressive: hardworking, respectful, and clearly proud of what they do. The three of them together feel like a crew you can trust with anything from tricky terrain to detailed finish work. The retaining wall they built for us is rock‑solid, beautifully done, and already changing how our land feels and functions. The whole experience was smooth, communicative, and genuinely enjoyable. And as a bonus, we got regular visits from Whiskey, the landscaping dog, who supervised the job with great seriousness and even greater ears. Five stars for the crew — and an extra treat for Whiskey🐾

I am so pleased with Carleton and Sons! Not only did they take our yard from an apocalyptic wasteland to a drought tolerant oasis, but they also did it in 5 days and UNDER BUDGET! Which I should add, was very tight. I love that they are a family owned business and they source their plants from their families nursery as well. Bob and his sons were incredibly knowledgeable and hard working. 10/10 would recommend!

Update 5/10/25++If I could add more stars I'd double my 5 star rating! A year after installing our water feature Bob came right over when the pump failed, possibly due to a power surge. We called him up on Monday, bought a new pump Tuesday and Saturday morning he came over and got our waterfall working again, FOR FREE!! When they say they guarantee their work they mean indefinitely. Bob's fun to chat with but he doesn't give lip service. Carlton & Sons will keep their word, isn't that refreshing? THANK YOU!! These guys are great and actually guarantee their work. We had a small problem with the drip system and they were here the morning after we called. They went above and beyond to help me add to the drip system and answered all my questions so I can do my own drip system in my front yard. I can't recommend them highly enough! 10 stars ⭐
