Boozie’s exceeded our expectations.
First, it's beautiful and a place you'd feel comfortable hanging out indoors or on the patio. It's located just behind the iPic theater in Fairview off Stacy and that means it's quiet...
Second, the food was delicious. We came for lunch on a weekend and had a couple burgers and the fried chicken sandwich, along with their chorizo queso and fried pickles/jalapeños. Everything was cooked correctly and quickly. Yes - quickly. That's often a problem in many restaurants, not this one. Oh - I also had the beer flight with the Hefeweizen, Pecan Cream Ale, Hazy IPA and their Stout. All were good, the Hazy IPA was our fav only slightly ahead of the delicious stout.
Finally, the service was excellent. Jessica was our server and she was awesome.
We look forward to coming this summer, hanging out on the patio. What a great find.
We decided to check out Boozies, after a friend had recommended them. When we first walked in, let's be honest my husband was disappointed. He didn't feel they had enough beer on tap for being a brewery.
Well the fairy brew-mother must have heard his woes, and sent us our waiter, Ryan!! Things promptly turned around with the kind hospitality, menu knowledge, and witty banter. The Rodeo Rocket Hazey was very enjoyable, brewed in house. It was the only one of theirs they had on tap BUT, we were informed there will be as many as 8 in house beers on tap in the coming weeks.
I ordered their chicken fried steak and was not disappointed in the description of the portion sizing!! My favorite part was definitely the in-house gravy. Yum!! We ended our meal with an order of churros to-go with more in-house black berry sauce.
We were treated so sweetly, and so well informed by staff. At the end of our meal they offered us a quick private tour.
Food is great. Portion sizing wonderful. Atmosphere top notch(we were jamming out to some good 90's music). Hospitality warm, and a wonderful experience all around. Would recommend. Will be back.
