Blackhorn Excavation

After working with Nick, I can vouch for his high work ethics, level of professionalism, and ability to get the job done. He built a 40’x60’ metal shop from start to finish by first securing required permits then to leveling the grounds and ditching where necessary with his excavating equipment. Nick calculated possible delays, made adjustments and finished the job in a timely manner. I would highly recommend and use Blackhorn Excavation for any future projects.

I'll be honest: there are very few contractors I recommend, but Blackhorn Excavation is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. I have hired them for emergency road repair, home site excavation, trenching, new road construction, structure demolition, and probably more than I can remember. Nick embodies the three things I look for in a contractor: quality work, at a fair price, and he shows up when he says he will. Blackhorn has always gone above and beyond the call, and I highly recommend them.

We called Blackhorn Excavation on a desperate whim to dig and clean out the ditches on our 1 mile, very steep gravel driveway. It was the middle of an exceptionally intense rainy season, and our road was being washed out faster than we could keep up with. He came right out, and within a week - tackled it, and saved our road from disintegrating. Then - when another problem arose with our driveway, he came back out and saved the day quickly and smoothly. We are so glad we called Nick; he's been an absolute pleasure to work with, incredibly fair and knowledgeable in his craft, and beyond capable of handling any gravel road crisis. If you're in need of any work done that Blackhorn Excavation could take care of - I simply cannot recommend them enough.
