Big Leaf Landscapes

We met Sam when he worked for another landscaping company in Corvallis. He did a great job last year on our backyard landscaping. When Sam started on his own and we needed to have more work done, we never hesitated and immediately thought of Sam. His price is fair, his work is above excellent, he has great ideas when designing, and he is very communicative.

I hired Sam to help repair my backyard after many of the plants were damaged or killed after a house fire. Over six months I had him back for staged repair that included 1) cleaning and removal of dead vegetation, 2) rebuild of retaining walls including along existing steps and 3) replant of my Japanese garden. All of the work has been top notch. I am so pleased with the result, which improves on the original design while still meeting the criteria of the design. Sam also sticks to estimated costs and is an excellent communicator. I would hire him again without hesitation.

Sam just completed a project for us- regrading our yard, extending our patio area, building a retention wall to create a bed for landscaping, walking paths with river rock and a lawn. Top notch. From his design ideas, to the project and clean up. I can’t say enough good things. We will be working with Sam on the next phase of our yard.
