My family and I have been traveling the Pacific Northwest for two weeks. We've been to SF, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver BC, and parts between. We've eaten in all sorts of local places across a wide range of cuisines. We were only in Salem for a night and needed to get a decent dinner. I searched Yelp for local faves and the Roadhouse

Very nice place to eat, great steaks, ribs, burgers...but the chops!!! my FAVORITE!!! Loaded baked potatoes, salads, steamed veggies. Truly something for everyone
Had the grilled chicken on rice with garlic mashed potatoes. It was excellent.
You can't go wrong with BLR as many of us locals call it. The BLR is always consistent and always good. This restaurant is perfect for date night or a large family gathering. The restaurant offers a mini golf course outside.
We are repeat customers at Best Little Roadhouse. We always have a great experience, the food and service is perfect. We like the patio's atmosphere.
The title says it. This is an iconic example of what we enjoyed so much a few decades ago. Good food that satisfies you and service that makes you smile. Well worth the extra mile you drive to find it.
Great lunch and friendly quick staff.
Delicious meal.... had a small mix up with the appetizer and was happily surprised by visit from the manager apologizing...a rare thing in today's world.
Steaks are good, but burgers and salads are also available and good. Service is fairly quick and servers are friendly. Outside is their putt putt golf course. Birthday parties are always welcome.
We love going here for an early happy hour! Service in the bar can't be beat and the appetizers are fantastic!!!
We always enjoy ourselves when we are at the Best Little Roadhouse. Great service, awesome food and everyone is so friendly. If ya haven't been, I would recommend you go and see for yourself! ??
Great atmosphere and service. Prices are reasonable except for steaks. They are tasty but not worth the price. (In my opinion).
This place has two happy hours. The snack dishes are good. Well drinks are very reasonable.
Nice atmosphere however, $14.99 for a salad that consisted of iceburg lettuce with 5 grilled shrimp on top. The shrimp were delicious, but I felt for the meal as a whole it was overpriced. Raspberry vinaigrette had the consistency of corn syrup.
Food was good , and prices were pretty good, but what drew us here was the mini golf course. That was fantastic, to sit down and have a great meal and then play a round of mini golf on this beautiful little course.
The best!!! I recommend the ribeye!
They have amazing food. I found it on Google and went there for lunch. They have salad and baked potatoes with bacon and cheese so yummy.
A sign of a good restaurant is when locals eat there in droves, and Best Little Roadhouse was packed even early on a Sunday evening (5!) It's huge, the atmosphere is terrific. We ate on the outdoor patio (enclosed) and definitely liked the patio more...More
Our families favorite restaurant in Salem. We go everytime we visit family. The steaks and salads are always good. If you go it will become a favorite. And play some mini golf.
