I feel this is the best place to get a steak in Salem. I have never had a bad meal here. The prime rib is to die for and salads are great.

The Best Little Roadhouse has been a reliable go-to place for dinner. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. There are lots of booths in the main dining room and bar, but only tables in the "patio" section. At the dinner rush, the restaurant can be incredibly loud. Nice atmosphere, soup was tasty, main dish was bland & no color at all, boring. You'd think they would have some kind of green vegetable. My husbands steak was way overcooked & he said Logan's Roadhouse would have been better for steak. Wanted dessert but waiter just brought bill and left & never checked on us again & never asked if

The menu is a bit generic, as is the food. I was a let down by the veggie burger. Pretty bland with only a small side of fries. As always, the honey butter and rolls were nice, but the Best Little Road House isn't quite the Best.

We went here for the first time about 6 mo ago. There was a fly constantly buzzing around our food. Spent most of the time shooing the fly. Our waitress wasn't very attentive at all but the 2nd to last time she did come around, she seemed to really want a tip or she felt guilty (all of the sudden really caring). Hmmm..

Roadhouse is staffed with none but the best. Their nachoes are especially awesome, and everything its exactly as you would expect from a simple joint. Good beer, good food, good prices, and a great time to boot.
