Bernal Dental Group

Had researched all of the dentists in Los Algodones before heading to Yuma. I saw several posts from "sooze98148" on tripadvisor.com. My trip was quick and Bernal Dental Group was definitely right choice. Driving to Los Algodones you can see massive billboards advertising for Sani and Reny Dental on Interstate 8 but until you get to Los Algodones you really realize they should have changed the city name to "Molar City". So how do you sort through plethora of dentists? I started with reviews from everyone on tripadvisor.com and ranked top 3. Bernal Dental Group does not use billboards and local "barkers" to bring them customers. They are VERY clean, honest fair and straight forward if anyone reading this review please spend the time to research practicing experience of your prospective dentist. Bernal Dental Group has several dental experts on site using state of the art dental equipment. My over-priced local dentist doesn’t even have right dental equipment needed to do his work so he had to refer me another specialist (Endodontics) which wanted to charge me even more. Bernal Dental Group repaired his shoddy work. Never going back to this local dentist. Was not impressed with dentists’ advertising school credentials who took certain dental courses listed on their website. This really doesn’t tell me if they failed the course or if they barely passed the course. I think it was true what you hear from others on how they felt after their oral treatment. That’s how I made my decision to go with Bernal Dental Group. Juan Macias was very good at coordinating the visit and he speaks perfect English. Of course, what you pay is not indicative of what you get I found cheaper dental offices with aggressive cheaper pricing and later found these dental offices having advertised specials through their emails and websites. This should be the first clue STAY AWAY from these dental practices. You don’t want to have failing implants or crowns less than a year later. Unfortunately, my close friend had this problem her implant fell off within days of her treatment and she needs to have another trip to fix the problem.

We have been going to Juan and Carlos for over 8 years now! My husband needed extensive work on his entire mouth, and Carlos reconstructed his entire mouth (20+ crows and root canals) all in just one week and at a fraction of the cost it would have cost in the USA. They work very hard to SAVE teeth and will only pull one if absolutely can't be saved. Amazing people, amazing work. We send all our friends and family here. And the other Juan at the front desk is genuinely helpful, honest, friendly and more. You will not be sorry you have gone to Bernal Dental (or Los Algondones - very safe place to be - safer than most US cities!!!)

Made the trip from Phoenix when we were on vacation, I had searched on the web for reviews before hand and Dr Bernal had a good reputation, we were early but Jaun the office manager was able to get us in anyway, which was great. I had two implants done. The office and staff were all great Dr Bernal seemed very experienced at putting in implants, The procedure went well and the cost was a third of what my dentist in the states quoted and once I was back home he said the work looked fine to him.
