Went on a bourbon distillery tour and tasting. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable but the tour was very short and the things to see were limited. Still good value for the cost. We got to sample 6 drinks then got a coupon for a discount if we wanted to drink more at the bar.
We enjoyed our tour at the Barrel House Distillery. Our tour guide, Marshall, was great. Thank you for entertaining our questions and teaching us more about the process and history. It never hurts to hear it again, in fact helps to piece things together. Third tour and I am still learning something new each time. It was nice to see the Pot distillation verses the column distillation process we had seen. Liked the tasting experience. The gift shop has a nice selection of items. We stopped at the restaurant and had a bite to eat afterwards. Service was good and we liked the food. Booking the tour was easy, distillery easy to get to and parking was easy. Liked the “prescription” for medicinal bourbon.👍 In all, we enjoyed our time and would recommend this as a place to visit.
