I don't have much experience dealing with sod or landscaping companies. I found Atlanta Sod Farms on Angi and Davin reached out to me the next day. He was very quick to get out and give me an estimate on my backyard, which was quite a challenging project. I had previously had another landscape company come out to give me a quote and they gave me a rough estimate of the square footage and told me how many pallets I needed to order. Davin had a tool that mapped the ACTUAL square footage as he walked the edge of the area I wanted sod, which he sent to me after the estimate so I knew what I needed to order or tell another company, even if I didn't use him. I walked me through step by step everything they would be doing, different types of sod and what would be best for my yard and the timeline that it would be finished. My house is a new build, so the contractor laid 20 pallets of sod in the front and side yards and didn't do a great job at grading and rolling the sod, so Davin told me he wanted to go back over the rest of the yard with their roller and fix some pieces that they messed up and he wouldn't charge me for it because he wanted the whole yard to look uniform and great. He really cares about his work and the final product.nnHis crew were out before sunrise to get started and almost had the yard graded, 35 pallets of sod down and rolled in the first day. They came back the second day and finished with no issues. Huge shoutout to Eric who called me before leaving on the second day and let me know I had a spot in my front yard that was holding water (luckily it was raining) and he tore a little bit of the sod up to drain it and said he was going to come back and try and fix the draining issue and the sod in my front yard, as well as rerolling part of it. All free of charge.nnOverall fantastic experience and would use them again.
