We are beyond grateful for Amanda and cannot recommend her enough as a photographer. Our journey with her truly felt like fate. After our original photographer had to cancel last minute due to a medical emergency, we were left scrambling. By chance, Amanda was already in Washington shooting another wedding, and thanks to the incredible creative community we were referred to her. We reached out, and within a few hours, we were on a call getting to know each other. She was extremely responsive to all our questions and was able to finalize plans right away, putting us at ease. Just one week later, Amanda was there, capturing every beautiful moment of our special day. From the very start, Amanda was a true gem – so sweet, funny, accommodating, and understanding. You can tell she really cares about her craft and the people she works with. We were literally planning on the fly with photos, yet she handled everything with such professionalism, grace, and kindness. She helped keep us on time the day of, was an extra hand in making sure we had everything we needed, and made us feel so comfortable in our own skin. She mostly took candid photos, but would direct us to pose when we were feeling extra awkward! She even came early to capture our tea ceremony, and stayed later to make sure we had some amazing dancing shots. She delivered the photos within the timeline that she promised. They are hosted on a website that’s easy to search, and you can even look up people by facial recognition! She did such a good job capturing every moment, and got tons of candid photos with friends and family members that bring us so much joy. Looking back, we can't help but feel that the universe had a hand in bringing us all together. Our wedding theme was "the stars aligned," and in so many ways, it truly did. Amanda helped make our day even more magical than we could have imagined.

We couldn’t believe how above and beyond Amanda went for us for our little wedding this fall. It felt like having an old friend there making it so special and capturing moments I wouldn’t have even thought of so creatively and beautifully. Seriously can not say thank you enough.

Amanda came through for me last minute as a photographer for my wedding AND did a super 8 film for us. I wasn't sure if wanted to hire a photographer because I hate posed photos and it seems like such a waste of money for a bunch of picture of yourself. This caused me to wait until a few weeks before the wedding to book! Not only did Amanda agree to do the wedding without a lot of notice but she totally got my vibe of what I wanted and she did almost ALL CANDID style photography. She did an amazing job capturing REAL PURE MOMENTS. Nothing about our wedding day was staged or rehearsed. We literally didn't even have a rehearsal. Amanda captured all the moments that mattered and more. She was a joy to work with and I can't wait to hire her again!
