I wanted to come on and update my review as I got to see All Smile’s new dentist and owner, Dr Burke today. I’ve been with this practice for a long time. Dr G was the only dentist who would work with me when I had a broken, badly infected tooth that I wanted to have pulled. I had seen many other dentists for this reason, but was told that they would only do a root canal. More than once I heard “we’re in the business of saving teeth, not pulling them” even after explaining that I could not afford a root canal at that time. By the time I got to All Smiles I was feeling pretty defeated and very anxious about dentists. I was shocked when they were able to get me in the next day and even more so when Dr G sat patiently while I vented all of my worries and frustrations. He understood why extracting the tooth was my best option at the time and set out to help me get back on track with my dental health. Ginger went above and beyond arranging an appointment with an oral surgeon for me to take place the next day. I’ve been with All Smiles ever since, they are all very near and dear to my heart. My experience with Dr Burke today reminded me a lot of my first meeting with Dr G. I was in for a cleaning with Tatyana (who is awesome) and got to meet Dr Burke for the exam. I had some questions about my upcoming treatment plan and was feeling a little anxious as usual. Dr B sat and listened patiently, never making me feel like he was in a rush. He’s got the same calming presence as Dr G always has and made me feel at ease while I asked the questions I had. One thing I have always appreciated here is that you aren’t pressured to go the most expensive route, but rather given options and worked with. Dr. Burke showed that same level of care and understanding today. Being a long time patient I worried things might change with new ownership, but it’s safe to say that things still feel the same at All Smiles. Thank you for another nice visit today, I’m truly looking forward to the next.
