Revisited this local favorite after the renovations and I absolutely LOVE it. Great job and all the interactive aspects are great, really gets you involved in the history of Albany. Small admission fee but well worth it. Will be visiting again to see anything that I may have missed on the first round. Great stop for locals and visitors alike, especially fun taking grandparents to hear their own stories and experiences that are brought to memory. Also a really cute kids area which I think is great for those with kiddos.

An amazing tribute to the rich history of the city of Albany. The museum is carefully curated and full of hands on exhibits that tell the story of the city and the central Willamette Valley. Highly recommended for both kids and adults.
The recent exhibit remodel really moved the museum from a cute small town stop to a fun return destination. Lots of hands on activities, kids area, and the return of history bites means there is always something for the whole family to do.
