Albany Farmers' Market

It's a great place with a great selection of vendors with very friendly and knowledgeable people. There is a nice covered area to sit and enjoy talking with friends. Today Republic Services of Albany was giving away compost. Next week the give-away is vegetable seeds from a local charity. We got a bag of the compost, a dozen eggs and some tomato plants. We made our first trip to the Albany Farmers Market today and were pleasantly surprised at what we saw. It is a smaller farmers market compared to the one in Corvallis, but, unlike the one in Corvallis, every vendor was relevant and had great offerings. We made purchases from several vendors, and we definitely plan on returning regularly.

Mid-size city farmers market. Decent variety of vendors. Have different events each week, good stuff for the kids and adults. It isn't big but it's a nice little market
