A-1 Environmental Services

Called around to find best price for a 30 yard dumpster. A1 was best in area, now that doesn’t always mean customer service is good. But A1 blew me away there employees are always respectful and get the job done. Thank you A1!

I have been using A-1 for the past 4-5 large gatherings at my home. At first my guests were like, “No thanks, can I use the house?” I would tell them if my septic could handle it I wouldn’t rent the port-a-potty. Once they used the port-a-potty they were amazed at how clean and new looking it was. It is delivered fully stocked with toilet tissue and hand sanitizer. This year I rented the wash station also since it was a lobster cookout. It really came in handy. It was filled with clean water, soap dispensers and plenty of paper towels. Staff is courteous and helpful. The whole process was simple from ordering, delivery and pick up. I highly recommend this place of business.

After calling several suppliers in the southern Maine and New Hampshire area, (each with very different pricing and availability of roll off containers), I called A-1 Environmental Services. I was pleasingly surprised that a live person answered (and not a recording) who was friendly and knowledgeable and with whom I was comfortable discussing our needs. She answered my questions (and I had several) as well as scheduled the delivery of a 30 yard container without having to transfer me to someone else in the organization. A big plus in my book !! Their pricing was the best I'd found and was for a longer period (2 weeks vrs the 1 week everyone else quoted). The 2 week rental period was very beneficial as it rained for several days, negatively impacting our cleanout schedule. I was called on the day of delivery to update me as to the approximate arrival time which really helped as we were working on a tight schedule that day. The delivery drivers, (both drop off and pick up), were also friendly and helpful regarding what could and couldn't be included, and even made some suggestions as to how to load some of the larger, more bulky items. All said, I'll gladly use A-1 again (and plan to) as well as highly recommend them to anyone needing rental of a roll off container. Jim Appleby ... Kennebunk, Maine
