“Healing Hands has been open for two years now,” Pike begins, her voice brimming with pride. “It started with just me in a small office, and now we’re in this amazing space with a fantastic team. I get to work with some of the best people I know.”
The ethos of Healing Hands is grounded in providing relief from pain and treating injuries, a mission that Pike holds dear. As an Air Force veteran, her own experiences with pain management led her to discover the profound impact of massage therapy. “I was having TMJ (temporomandibular joint) issues and my dentist sent me to a massage therapist. I walked in barely able to open my mouth and walked out able to eat normally. That was my introduction to the power of massage.”
One of the standout tools at Healing Hands is the Dolphin MPS, a microcurrent pulse stimulation device. “It uses DC current, the same as what’s running through all the cells in your body,” she describes. “It increases cellular metabolism and protein synthesis, which is fantastic for treating scar tissue. I’ve worked on scars that are 40 years old and seen great results.”

Looking ahead, Pike has ambitious plans for Healing Hands. She envisions incorporating movement-based practices like yoga and Pilates, expanding into athletic training, and acquiring new tools like a PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy) machine. “Movement is crucial for correcting imbalances,” she explains. “I want to provide more structured guidance for exercises and rehabilitation.”
