Please Read On Friday May 18, 2018 at 1300 me and my family stopped at the Western RV location in Lloydminster spoke with a great salesman Colin, we discussed preapprovals at other locations and price ranges that accompanied our max monthly expenditures that we felt comfortable with. After finding a suitable trailer for our needs I placed a $ 500 deposit, which was verbally communicated as pending finance criteria at which time I signed a presales receipt as to the price of the trailer. At 1530 we still had no call from Chris in the Leduc office to take my financial application at which time Colin said Chris would call before 1630 and complete application over the phone with me, at 1630 I never heard anything back, I called Colin, said he would be in touch, at 1700 Chris gets back to me ‘banks are closed will call tomorrow morning first thing and do it. On Saturday May 19 at 1100 Chris calls we complete the application at which time I state to him a specific bank that has preapproved me at other RV locations that I have shopped around at, he says not to worry will get me the best deal out there because Western RV deals with all the major banks. At 1800 Chris calls says we need a copy of pay stub and states the details of a completely different bank with a higher interest rate where I told him I was originally approved at with no hassles, it was a bank I dealt with before without any issues and a copy of a pay stub no big deal I let it slide sent him a copy and moved on with the rest of my day. On Tuesday May 22 at 1200 heard nothing back and left a voicemail for Chris earlier that morning frustrated I texted Colin if he heard anything, no response at 1400 Chris calls states they now needed a conformation of employment from my employer, I stated no, it takes my company up to 2 weeks to process a letter and I recommended he throw in the towel and go with the bank I ve originally been telling him, he agrees On Wednesday may 23 at 1600 I call Chris for an update says had no issues with that bank but I could only buy the one trailer which is all I needed however monthly payment was $ 80 too high says he will look into to getting it down and get back to me. On Friday May 25 at 0900 I left Chris a voicemail, on may 28 at 1400 I still heard nothing back I called Colin and cancelled the transaction and that I would buy elsewhere, Colin sends me a text MSG to call Larry, at 1600 I called Larry told him my thus far experience and I would not be purchasing the trailer, walks over and starts trying to beat the price down to match what my budget allowed for, I stopped said to return the 500 back to my credit card said he would and I would need to stop by the Lloyd location for them to do that. On June 1 at 1000, I stopped by the Lloyd location met with Colin and he stated that my deposit was not coming back because I double crossed them?? I informed him of the conversation I had with Larry he then called Chris and stated when he got off the phone the refund would have to be processed in Leduc, I left the location and then on Monday June 4, 1000 Chris leaves me a voicemail that states my money will not be returned, I called Larry right away and says that I double crossed them and I would not be getting it back I pled with him the fairness at which he laughed and said he would take my case to the higher ups and get back to me. On Tuesday June 5 1300 I call my credit card company to notify them of a dispute transaction we three way called Larry and he states he’s not meeting with the higher ups for another two days and that money was used to purchase the trailer not to secure financing and hold it. June 6 I call Larry and my 500 is kept for liable reasons of me double crossing.
