Do not go here If you want to spend a bunch of money and be ignored when something goes wrong on the trailer that is clearly there fault. They will not answer or return my calls when i call the secretary. Purchased new camper, wash rushed out the door with a poor walk through. 30 minutes on the road and the window was whipping open causing damage to frame because it wasn't latched properly. Agreed to purchase new camper from Western RV in Airdrie. Came to pick up camper on april 11,2019 at 3pm. It was a brand new 2019 sunset trail 262BH travel trailer .. we arrived for a walk through and the person didnt know what camper was ours. we went over the one that was set out for us and noticed it was not the camper we had been told was ours. this one had different back splash inside kitchen and the front spray on liner was different as well. They were not as nice as the show room trailer that we were told was ours. We had insurance on the show room one. stopped walk through and went inside for an hour while the finance manager Deany McCluskey tell us why they didnt notify us they changed the campers. The original one had damage to the roof I went out to inspect original trailer to see if they were being truthful. Then they argued saying there was no difference between the two. Eventually the president Bruce Urban got involved and we made a deal for some extra cash to take the camper they had set out for the inconvenience. then the loan papers had some insurance on it that i asked to opt out on, and the total loan amount did not add up. seemed like they were trying to add money to the loan to recoup the cash maybe? I would think someone that does loans all day should have the totals done correctly. Then we had to do a rush walk through on the unit as the service store was closing. The service person disappeared before we received the keys for the camper and luckily my fiance was on it or we would have left without keys. I was mostly satisfied at that point as they assured me everything was good to go. We left the dealer around 530 and went for supper nearby. Then in the snowstorm we drove onto stoney road and for about 30 min of total drive time i noticed the window in the bedroom that is an emergency exit window was opening and closing violently. so i had to pull over on a busy road while snowing to jump in and close it. under inspection i noticed the frame for the window was all bent and warped from opening and closing. It opened because the window was not latched properly. If we had an actual walk down i would have caught this. It was 830pm at this time so dealer was closed. the window was still in so i decided to keep on driving to my destination. I called The dealer and asked to speak to Bruce and was told he was in a meeting. I emailed Deany and told her about the situation. I called again on tuesday april 16,2019 with no answer again. I have been ignored which is extremely unprofessional. Had i known all this would happen and known they would ignore me i would have never stepped foot in this dealer. Also the PDI is a joke, the door did not latch properly, i had to take the handle apart to adjust, when we ran the furnace the first time it had wood chips all over as well as wood shavings in almost all of the cabinets. we will see if they actually pressured up the water system, hopefully there is no issues there. you think with the amount of trailers sold and the money they make a proper checklist to do a walk through would be done on every camper. I added photos of the window frame. Had i not caught it right away the window would have ripped out the frame.
