Disappointed
We purchased a brand new fifth wheel and were really excited about it. We knew what we were out to purchase but wanted to look at some others to compare. We came to our decision on a 2015 Jayco Eagle. Came to pick it up and had our walk through given by a service tech who really did not know much about this trailer specifically. There were a few things that were wrong inside, cupboard doors crooked the panel on the fridge was loose, molding around the roof was coming off, trim on the cupboards had significant chips in them oh ya and the furnace did not work. When we made the purchase we had a few things added including a dirt devil vacuflo - which was used by your cleaners to clean the trailer before we picked it up!! No professional in my opinion. We also ordered some jack stands and a tripod that I do not believe we have received yet. Your dealer could not accommodate a reasonable time frame for service so we opted to take it out to okotoks as it is closer to us anyways. They determined that the furnace needs to be replaced. Now I think if the trailer had had a proper PDI completed it would have been discovered that a new furnace was needed. They have ordered it and will be installing it for us. We had also asked that we see the pump running with water as we wanted to make sure it was working and that the taps and toilet worked and there were no leaks. With it being summer before we would be able to use any of that would really suck for us to get it out to your seasonal site to find out we have no water or a leak. We were refused this request and were told this is not something Western RV does. Very poor customer service in my opinion. We were also referred to Western RV by friends of ours that purchased their trailer last year. We mentioned this to our sales girl at the beginning and nothing was done about it. We enquired about it again and were told its now too late! Not very good business if you ask me. Guess we won't be referring anybody to you. We have technicalyl owned the trailer for almost 4 weeks now had every intention of using it before Christmas but that is not going to happen. We will also have to change our Christmas plans as we were going to travel to our relatives for Christmas and stay in the trailer instead of a hotel. Overall we have had extremely poor customer service and service from the Airdrie branch. The Okotoks branch has done its best to accommodate us other than the delay of ordering a new furnace. I can't say that I have any faith or trust in Western RV and will definitely be thinking twice before returning in the future. I would like some to contact me regarding the Referral bonus as I believe it is only fair that it be paid out to both parties, and I would like an explanation as to why the furnace not working was not caught on the PDI.
