After getting a couple bids for a crack in foundation. Some leveling house issues, contacted Western Construction Systems. They provided a more accurate, price competitive solution. What I actually needed to fix my problem. They completed the repairs in a professional manner. Highly recommend them for any foundation or crawl space issue one my have.
Top notch service and quality work
WCS was hired to repair the failed repair work completed by their competitor (Brick-by-Brick) on a basement wall crack that had fairly serious water ingress (which resulted in $7500 worth of damage). The professionalism of Justin and the rest of the staff, and the quality of the work performed is a night and day difference compared to dealing with BBB, who both failed to honor their warranty and engaged in unprofessional behavior, including name-calling with my attorney. Justin also assessed a second minor leak that I had in the basement and advised how I can fix it myself, without requiring professional services.
Tyler, the administration staff, and the Western Construction work crew all combined to do a great job earthquake retrofitting my 1939 house. The estimate was prompt, scheduling was easy, and the work was done on time as promised.
Justin and his crew did a great job with our various projects. They were on time, courteous, and completed the work in the time they predicted. We would definitely recommend this company.

The team at WCS recently did post & beam foundation work (and some crack repair) in the crawl space of my 98-year-old house. They also put in a storm water drainage system from my gutter downspouts to the front of the house--where overflow rainwater will now pool in a drainage/catch basin--moving rainwater away from my foundation. Amazing team from start to end--from office personnel to Justin's site visits, to the crew that did the work. I was very impressed with WCS's professionalism, knowledge, and hands-on work. I would highly recommend WCS for any project that they offer that you might need!
I've had the opportunity to meet Justin, David, and Tyler for two different projects. They are all very professional and easy to understand when explaining work that needs to be done or has been completed. The work is excellent and once they begin a project, my experience is that they are fast and good at what they do. What I like best is how easy they are to reach and communicate with, as we all know water issues in the basement can be stressful and require action quickly. I would recommend Western Construction to anyone looking for a company that is going to do a great job with foundation repair/basement waterproofing and hold your hand the whole way.
We were very nervous about having our foundation worked on, but Western Construction Systems did a phenomenal job! The crew was clean, tidy and very respectful. They actually left our downstairs family room area, which they had to use to get access to under the house, cleaner than it was prior to them arriving. They sealed everything off with plastic sheeting ... including the garage, as it started to rain, so they had to set up their prep and work area there, as it was out of the rain. They made sure the exterior doors were closed after they would enter and exit the house and garage, as we did not want any unwelcomed "guests" to wander in, as had happened when another company had done floor tiling work for us years ago when those floor workers had actually propped our exterior doors open. Pictures were taken both before and after in order to show us what they had done. We know that our project was very small when compared with what Western Construction Systems normally does, but we felt they gave as the same "white glove" treatment as if it had been a million dollar job. We also want to say what a joy it has been to work with the office staff and the person who came out and checked out our issue and gave us the estimate. To say the least, is to say that we are satisfied customers.
Justin diagnosed the problem with the foundation, explained it well to me and scheduled the repair. The WSC 3-person team worked hard and completed the foundation crack repair in one day. The team leader went over the completed repair with me and showed me photos of the completed work both under the house and outside the house. WCS is a very professional company with great follow up from all personnel involved. I would recommend their service to anyone needing foundation repair etc.
WSC was my second bid on our foundation problems. We had two large cracks, a sinking foundation, and floors that were sloping. Tyler was able to diagnose the cause of these issues, and propose a plan of action that would resolve the cause of the problem, as well as repair the identified problems. A competitor had bid the job, and proposed a solution that did not include treating the root cause of our foundation problems. Also WSC's holistic solution was $10k lower that their competitor. It was a pleasure working with Tyler, and the crew that came out to complete the job. They were very kind and courteous, and I could tell that they enjoy their work. The job was completed in less time than they expected, which was also a pleasant surprise. As I inspected their work, I could tell that they took pride in their work, and provided a professional and thorough solution that would last for the life of our house. Western Construction Systems died a great job repairing our foundation, cleaning up our crawl space and replacing the moisture barrier. Justin gave us a detailed estimate and explanation of what really needed attention and the crew completed all the work on time. High quality work and competitive prices. I highly recommend them.
They repaired a sagging foundation on an old back porch that has been turned into a breakfast nook. Their bid was better than others, the men were very polite and professional and they left everything very clean when done. The job was nasty because it had to be done in a small crawl space but their attitudes were great and they did the work for the same price as their bid (which is unusual theses days). I would definitely recommend them.
Every one from sales to service was extremely nice and professional. Also when they were done and I saw the amount of work that was completed, I was more than happy with the money I spent.
We were very impressed with Western Construction. It was refreshing to work with a company that did what they said they were going to do in a timely manner. Their communication was fabulous - we never had to guess when people were going to show up - or what next steps were. We had a bit of a tricky job - and they were able to solve the problems that came up while still getting the job done on time and within budget. Thank you to Tyler and the team.
From the time of my initial inquiry to the time that the crew left after completing the retrofit, each and every person I dealt with was knowledgeable and courteous, including Tyler, the office staff and the crew who did the installation. The crew showed up on time; and they worked non-stop until the job was done; and, they finished at the time promised. Every area where they had to walk or lay their equipment was carefully covered with plastic to protect the flooring. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
A pleasure to deal with everyone I was in contact with. Everyone was eager to answer any questions I had. The only recommendation for improvement would be to have the final crew have the homeowner inspect the site prior to completion. I would have had more dirt removed, But... They did go the extra mile and haul the excess dirt over to my new place and dump it. So overall a great job.
