My clients were in a real pinch needing information about a foundation for a house they are transacting for. WCS worked for a few days to get us an inspection report appointment, got us the expert analysis bid we needed, and my buyers benefitted well gaining much of the funds to tackle the projects right after closing.

Everyone at Western Construction Systems was professional, courteous, on time and took time to answer my questions. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was they forgot to check ALL the doors and windows operated properly before leaving. The kitchen door deadbolt is now hard to twist into place. I would hire them again.

Tyler was great to work with. This was my second time using WCS for minor foundation repair. I had some concerns after the initial job, and Tyler personally came out and fixed up everything. I'd use them again.

With big rains in November of 2021 my basement suffered from severe water damage. Collin Andra from Western Construction could hear the panic in my voice on the phone and was here within 24 hours to assess the damage and where my foundation was failing. He put together a plan and had an emergency team in place in a short period of time. The first fix of under slab drainage and a sump pump took care of the front of the house as well as rerouting outside gutter drainage. More problems arose in the back half of the basement and the need for cracks in walls to be injected was necessary. Collin was there day and night to answer texts and to make sure all problems were handled. He is a wonderful addition to the company. I have recommended them to several people.

Juan, Frank, and Ryan were awesome. They did such a great job fixing cracks in my foundation that I felt comfortable going back for crawl space clean out and dump pump replacement. Fast, quality work. Communication was awesome - Juan kept me informed the whole time and consulted with me about concerns and solutions. Would definitely rehire and recommend.

Tyler at Western Construction Systems was very helpful in a problem situation. He was very knowledgeable and informative! His Crew Took care of the Water Drainage Situation and Leveled the Corner of the House, Very Professional, Cleaned up Very Well, does not look like anyone had been there. Best of All they moved up the Repair Dates! Highly Recommend them.

Dec 24, 2021 What could possibly go wrong
Considering purchase of a 1925 home in SE Portland, I was assured by Tyler that all of the foundation problems could be repaired easily for under 15K. I relied on his evaluation and bought the house. Tyler's failure to adequately assess the foundation problems and determine actual source of leaking resulted in repair of two cracks that weren't the problem. The leaking continued, then ozzed up through the tile and flooring. I have 911Restoration here, $6500 to rip up the finished walls, tile and flooring and dry it out. Western bid another 7K to run a trench and sump pump. No idea yet how much refinishing will cost when the water issue gets solved. I would recommend you get multiple companies to look at problem before contracting. Next time I would have my attorney review as well, and get assurances they have completely analyzed the problem and repairs required.

The Western Team did an excellent job waterproofing and adding structural stability to our very old concrete garage structure. It was a complicated project and, while the first round eliminated 98% of the leaks in our garage, there were still a few leaky spots that appeared when the fall rains returned. They came back several times to address these areas- all as part of our initial contract. We can now store things in our garage uncovered and they won't be wet or smell like mildew! Their staff were also always friendly and helpful.

When we purchased our 93 year old home, we knew what we were getting into. The basement was already moist and when it rained the water would weep through the walls. Western Construction has since worked with us to seal the basement from outside moisture. They explained why this was happening, the process, and what to expect. Ultimately the basement is dry. The combination of above ground grading and below ground waterproofing has allowed us to use the space for this and that. They have also been back when spot water has been located. It is rare, but when we did a large yard remodel, we had to make some adjustments to the walls. Again, it was quick and professional.

Oct 7, 2021 Foundation crack issues
Western Construction did an excellent job repairing our foundation. Bit was riddled with cracks and cement just falling on the ground. Our house was built in 1910 so cement was old and falling apart. Tyler came in and was very professional and the repair staff also was professional and finished our job in a timely manner.
