My mother was at Sommerset from May to October 2022. We chose it after visiting several other facilities and talking to a number of persons at Sommerset. What I appreciated most was the professionalism, good communication, care, and especially the guidance through the challenging process of admission (in our case) that Connie and others provided. As my mother needed to move to memory care, there was additional support, as she was at times not the easiest person to look after! There were still activities, physical/cognitive therapy, and so on available in memory care, and we enjoyed multiple visits around the property with relatives/friends and occasionally with the staff and other residents. One small example of the quality of training was when the maintenance man was installing a TV on the wall, I noticed his calm & patient interaction with another resident nearby. I have no hesitation to recommend Sommerset, which truly ASSISTED us during this process.
