Shimmy Shack comprises Kismet Dance Company, a belly dance performance troupe, and Belly Omaha classes taught by Magdalena Christina. Our guiding philosophy is Body Positivity and we encourage students of any size, shape, or age to participate in our classes. Beginners level classes are taught from an “absolute beginning” starting point, meaning even if you have no previous dance experience you will can learn to belly dance.
Kismet Dance Company enjoys dancing for community events, restaurant shows, and has been part of the belly dance showcase in Omaha Fringe Festival.
