Salem-Keizer Recycling and Transfer Station

FYI CLOSED ON LABOR DAY!! Normally great tho

Visited here today just before closing (5p.m.) to drop off two broken down couches. I had my husband follow me in his car with our two daughters to help with unloading when we got there. Note: I was advised, this evening, that no vehicles are allowed up at the trash site that are not there to unload trash. They were kind enough to let us through tonight, however, I will be sure to remember the vehicle restriction in the future. The three employees I had the pleasure of working with tonight were kind, understanding, and helpful. Witnessing employees as awesome as these so close to closing, at any establishment, is a rarity! Thanks very much and we will see you next time!

They're always good at directing traffic but it does get busy often. Weekdays are better if you need to get in and out fast. Their dump trailer area is reserved for only dump trailers and is convenient.
