Wonderful Venue, Service, and Food

My company had their annual Christmas party at the Salem Convention Center last year and were so pleased we promptly booked it for this year's party. Once again, they did not disappoint! We were really hoping to get the room we had last year, however that room was already booked. They worked with us to get an equivalent room and it was just as beautifully decorated as the year before. I showed up early to help set up our raffle prizes, and they had all the tables already set up, way earlier than we had expected. They moved the Christmas tree to a more visible area so we could enjoy it and have room to take pictures. The gallery area that we also had available to us to use was absolutely beautifully decorated! We were so pleased with the look and took many pictures out there.
The staff was very helpful in so many ways. One lady (I can't remember her name) who seemed to be in charge of the staff for the evening was very attentive. She approached me at the beginning of the evening, introduced herself, and said she would be around to help with anything we needed. As the alcohol got flowing and many people reached their drinking limit, she so kindly approached me to let me know they would be shutting down the bar and offered to let the few still sober people the chance to get one more drink. She was very professional about the whole thing. I received no complaints about any of the other staff from that evening.
The food was top notch! Great flavor and temperature. We got the prime rib, the turkey breast, and the ravioli. Everybody seemed to very much enjoy their food. A few complaints about the brussel sprouts, but the mashed potatoes were a delicious side. For dessert we got the chocolate cake and the apple pie. Both were delicious! We would have liked the pie to be warm, but it was still wonderful.
We definitely recommend this venue! Sarah and Soraida are great women to work with! We will be back next year for sure!!
