Technical Training to Jazz
Normally we have a wonderful time at the Salem Convention Center. This time, we were disrupted by the Salem Rotary luncheon next door, with a jazz band in attendance.
We train education personnel from across the state and we had an incredibly difficult time being able to communicate with a very loud jazz band playing enthusiastically next door. Unfortunately they started playing after our lunch time and right when we were getting started with our afternoon session.
It was unfortunate that the Rotary didn't think about the effect on all the other meetings going on around them.We lost a good half hour, waiting for the music to be done.

Parking garage is below ground, full size trucks suggest street parking. As far as rooms go, we did not stay at the hotel that is adjoining, we used the Willamette room upstairs. Absolutely wonderful!
