Ilp Provider Convening/Off-Site Meeting

Communication could have been much better- I had to be the one to make the calls, send the emails, follow-up and even start the process once the event had been handed off to the catering manager after the initial conference event sale. Parking was a nightmare the first day due to other events (which we were not notified about nor told about an alternate place to park (which was at least a few blocks away and with all of the conference materials, flipcharts, carts, etc was NOT convenient--there should be a loading and unloading zone that was specifically identified we should have been notified about). We received several complaints about the parking and due to that issue our event started late. We also had complaints about how cold the room was. However, for the most part we received positive comments on the food (except for the 2nd day where the alternative to the meat lasagna was tofu). The room organization and facilities were good and the staff there was very helpful and attentive. Overall, I would have to give mixed reviews...some things went well, some not as much but had there been better communication I think some of the issues could have been avoided or at least addressed...
