Great Staff and Venue, but Needs a Little Work

I booked a business meeting at the Convention Center over the course of two days. Staff was very accommodating and meeting space was very nice. A few things that impacted my event: 1) When I got to my meeting room to make sure it was ready and set up, I found a gentleman from a different event comfortably hanging out on his phone. I had to start setting up my projector to get his attention enough to hope he'd wrap up his call and move on out. Following his call, he sat there for 5 minutes until I told him I had a meeting starting in less than 15. 2) A larger event in the biggest meeting room across the hall had a bagpipe player . . . that started playing in the middle of my planning session. I think it lasted for a good 5-10 minutes, so our group had to practically yell out during that time. 3) On the first day, before we were even wrapping up the meeting, staff from the convention center attempted to break down the wall in between our meeting room and another. . . and on day 2, staff waited outside the door and rushed in immediately as soon as a few of our guests got up to leave. Would have been nice to have 5 minutes to gather up my things before feeling like I was being shuffled out. I get they have multiple events, but would have appreciated being able to pack my bag to leave without staff charging in.
My first two issues really aren't related to Convention Center staff, but maybe to be used as a reminder to post something to other Convention center guests to respect other meetings going on. Other thing not a deal breaker. Overall, great visit!
