1-Star Review of Restoration 1 of Corvallis

I would never recommend Restoration1 of Corvallis. I would like to give no starts. We had a bathroom that had water damage. The project took 10 weeks. There was NO work done for 5 of those 10 weeks. R1 kept saying it was issues that insurance didnt pay which was NOT the case. Plus we instructed them at the very first visit that we would pay out of pocket as this was the only bathroom in the house and the family had to move to air bnb's. R1 rebuild team finally kicked it in when we asked for the final invoice and wanted out of our agreement,. However, even when they finally started the repair work they still did not follow instructions from the home owner. Example is once the project was finally completed, we now have to call a plumber back in because they did not replace a part of the toilet that we asked them too. Their billing process is ridiculous. We went with tile from Home depot that was only 3.00 a square foot but they ended up charging us over $4 a square foot. When they repainted walls they did not remove nails, do any patching and also did not paint around the ceiling trim. When we requested an itemized billing it took over a week to receive and there were several errors. These are just a few examples of their unprofessionalism. We could list over 20 other examples of their lack of professionalism, communication, billing issues, and lack of construction knowledge. We never expected the Project Manager to be an expert on all issues but we expect them to find out the answers to our questions. Not sure if this was the first job for our project manager but his knowledge of the process was minimal. We would never recommend this company to anyone!
