The process of trying to get a rental from Plus Property was an interesting one, but overall very positive. Mike Hoff is a great guy who managed to get us a great place despite us having zero rental history without much hassle. Highly recommended. Full story below. Plus Property had some of the best properties for the most reasonable prices that we could find, but over the course of two weeks, every time we called we just got an answering machine that said "I'm away from my phone briefly." We were getting pretty frustrated. Eventually we called the Bend office and they managed to get us a call back from the Redmond office. Even after that there were some communication issues. We still couldn't get ahold of them without going through the Bend office. We set an appointment to look at a property, then it was canceled 30 minutes before the meeting through email. We didn't get the email so we showed up anyway to a very confused tenant. This is where things get better though. After this, Mike worked hard to get us a good place. He was very professional, but also very relaxed. He didn't seem fake like a lot of realtors and rental agencies. He was honest and willing to work with us. We have no rental history and a dog that also has no rental history. He was able to convince the landlord to rent to us. When we went to sign the lease, we saw a secretary setting up her desk. Turns out, he hasn't had a secretary for the last year about. He was basically doing everything for all plus property redmond rentals all by himself. Answering calls, talking to the landlords, filling out paperwork, answering emails, showing units to renters, putting in maintenance requests, etc all by himself. It's no wonder he was so hard to get a hold of. Now that he has a secretary in the office things have dramatically improved for communication. It's pretty easy to get a hold of them. We've only lived her for two months, but so far they've been great. One set of blinds was in very bad condition so we put a call in and they sent someone out to fix them very quickly. So far, I definitely recommend them and especially Mike.
