5-Star Review of Owen & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning

I can’t say enough good things about Owen & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning. My family needed furnace repair because of a cracked heat exchanger, and Leonard helped us get everything taken care of quickly. I work in the trades as a plumber, so I pay close attention to workmanship, system performance, and overall service. The technicians arrived on time, were professional, explained the heating repair process clearly, and completed the install with great attention to detail. They cleaned up the work area, checked that the furnace was running safely and efficiently, and followed up afterward to make sure everything was working well. The whole experience was smooth, honest, and high quality. I would recommend them to anyone needing furnace service, heating repair, or air conditioning work.

I’ve used this furnace repair company for a long time. They installed a full HVAC system with ductwork in my first home, and later put in a new furnace and AC at another house. I compared several quotes both times, and they were the most affordable. I also called them for routine furnace service over the years, and they were always honest and fair. I never felt pressured into extra repairs, and they explained the heating work clearly in simple terms. When I was younger and handling home repairs on my own, they were respectful and professional and never talked down to me. Later, my husband and I tried another heating company with good reviews, but it was very hard to get an appointment because they were booked out so far. Then our furnace stopped working during a holiday, and we needed help quickly. We decided to call this company again because of our past good experiences. A technician, Leonard, came out and found that the furnace mainly needed a good cleaning. He got the system running again fast, and the extra holiday charge was very reasonable. We appreciated that he was honest and fixed the real issue instead of pushing unnecessary parts or costly furnace repairs. Overall, we’re going back to them for furnace service and heating repair. They’ve always treated us well, responded when we needed help, and earned our trust with honest work, fair pricing, and dependable HVAC service.

Really thankful for how hard they work to schedule a heater repair appointment as quickly as possible. They send a reminder text the night before, and on the day of service they send another message when the technician is on the way, along with a photo and short bio, which made the whole visit feel very professional and easy. Zachary was our technician, and he was friendly, patient, and very thorough. He completed a full inspection of our heating system and quickly figured out the different issues with the heater. He clearly explained what was going on, answered our questions in simple terms, and gave us three pricing options depending on whether we wanted to repair part of the problem or take care of the full heater service. It was really reassuring to have an HVAC tech who knew his work and made us feel comfortable with the repair process instead of pressured. We wanted a company in Lake Oswego that was responsive, honest, and skilled with furnace and heater diagnostics, and this experience checked every box. The communication, professionalism, and quality of the heating service were excellent, and we were very happy with the whole appointment.

This was the second time we chose Owen & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning for furnace replacement, first at our previous home and now again after moving to our new place in Lake Oswego. Not long after settling in, we noticed the indoor heat would suddenly drop and the system was not keeping the house comfortable. We called for furnace service, and within a short time they diagnosed that the inducer motor on the older furnace was failing. They clearly explained the problem and gave us a simple choice: try to track down the part and repair the aging unit, or replace it with a newer high-efficiency furnace. We appreciated that there was no pressure either way, just honest furnace repair advice and good information about the condition of the system. We decided a new furnace installation made more sense because we did not want to repair one part only to have another issue show up soon after on such an old unit. Dale came out the same day to provide an estimate, and the price for the new furnace was fair and lower than we expected. The installation was scheduled quickly, the crew arrived on time, and the new heating system was installed smoothly. They worked efficiently, kept everything professional, and made sure the furnace was running properly before leaving. We had a great experience before, and it was nice to see the same dependable service again. Fast response, reasonable pricing, friendly technicians, and quality furnace work from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing furnace repair, replacement, or heating service.
