Matt Hirschfelder runs as exceptional business and is an accomplished musician. He knows the technical side of a piano and he knows how important it is in directing a choir. He is the director of the Lebanon Community Chorus currently preparing the winter classical concert. Consideration for both the piano and organ are key to the performance. His technical knowledge enhances his musical ability to work with a community choir.
We were very pleased with the quality of the work Matt and Doug did on our 100+ year old baby grand piano. Matt's expertise in the meticulus work of completely rebuilding the action of the piano is astounding. Doug's expertise in the digital player piano system is comprehensive and he was quite helpful for us in learning more about that program which is installed in our piano. In addition to their excellent professional attributes, Matt and Doug are really nice guys and lots of fun to be around.
I appreciate Matt’s attention to detail. Matt has rebuilt two grand pianos for me (Conover 88, and a Steinway B). Both instruments are amazing. Matt is not only a tuner, but a master rebuilder as well.
Matt thoughtfully answered all of my piano questions, and gave my housemates and I great upkeep advice! NWPS has incredible customer service and I have loved playing my nicely tuned piano!!
Matt's a great piano tuner and has been serving the Salem area for a long time. I have had the opportunity to see his excellent work many times and saw his beautiful piano shop and the excellent work they do. I highly recommend Matt and Northwest Piano Service!
