Cancelled on Me Last Minute Costing Me a $40 Fee!

I scheduled with Molly’s to clean my rental on my move out date. They sent me an appointment confirmation email and said they would be at my place to clean on that date. However, the next week on the day of the appointment they messaged me a few hours before the appointment and said they were unable meet their prior commitment. They said they needed me to fill out extra information, but instead of saying I should fill it out or they would have to cancel, they just cancelled. I had to schedule with another cleaner and pay a $40 expedited fee. This was peak unprofessionalism. You might be thinking they just don’t understand how inconvenient it is to have this type of late cancellation. Except you’d be wrong, they charge $50 cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours. So they do understand that a late cancellation is bad, but only if you do it. If they are the ones to cancel you are hung out to dry and have to figure out other plans. I highly recommend finding a more reliable cleaner. Trying to work with them cost me time, $50, and a headache.
