5-Star Review of Mallet Tile Installation

Chris and his crew were a huge help in planning and executing the shower area of a bathroom remodel in an old home. Incredibly responsive and great communication. Most importantly the work was done with great skill and a high level of finish. Highly recommend their work!

We had a leaking shower caused by poor waterproofing from a previous contractor after only one year. Chris, Jonathan, and the entire team at Mallet Tile Installation were amazing to work with from start to finish. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, explained everything clearly, and rebuilt the shower with quality workmanship and proper waterproofing. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and communication gave us complete confidence throughout the project. It's not often you find contractors who genuinely care about doing the job right. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Mallet Tile Installation to anyone looking for honest, skilled professionals.

Chris provided ongoing updates so communication was excellent from start to finish. The installation team was professional, knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and tidy. We love the end result. We can highly recommend Mallet for any bathroom renovation or tiling project.

I don't have enough superlatives to describe my experience with Mallet Tile Installation. Starting with the quality of the work, it is perfection. Precision and pristine describe the new harlequin tile floor they installed in my kitchen. They even found a perfect match riser between two rooms that joined the floors perfectly & in the same shade as my hardwood. The team were on time, polite, fun to have around, and just great guys. But over and above all that, I got some very difficult family news in the middle the install, and the owner Christopher could not have been more supportive and gracious, including following up with me to see how things were going. They have a customer for life in me. Outstanding work, and really good people. Thank you to the whole team for everything.

Mallet Tile has done a masterful job on our project. I had 2 separate issues. Mallet Tile fixed both. Chris, Jon, and the whole team were professional, knowledgeable, and their work speaks for itself. At all steps of the project, they were transparent, and explained things. Their pricing was completely reasonable. 1) The shower basin and/or drain assembly was leaking onto the kitchen below, causing water damage. It was the original shower from the builder, 26 years old, and more recently the waterproofing failed. Mallet Tile rebuilt the shower, properly waterproofed it from the ground up, and it's beautiful. In fact, the rest of the bathroom now looks sad in comparison. As an added bonus, there is now barely any grout to clean. 2) The bathtub faucet was dripping. Still dripping after I replaced the cartridge, and the fittings could not be serviced without breaking some bathroom tile, according to a few different plumbers. When plumbers told me tiles will need to be broken in order to service the dripping bathtub faucet, I was picturing a sledgehammer breaking the whole section and then having to completely rebuild it later. Mallet Tile solved this one with a cleanly cut square for an access hatch, and then put in all new bath fixtures. As an added bonus they put shutoff valves for both the shower and tub in there -- so in the future if I ever have to service the tub or shower fixtures, it doesn't involve shutting off water for the whole house.
