Retaining Walls and shrub removel

Luis just completed a fairly large project for us. He first removed a long row of holly trees, including removal of the roots. He then installed a low block retaining wall and a tall block retaining wall around a garden area. And he installed several large landscape boulders. He and his associates were very careful to plan and install the blocks so they were exactly level and spaced evenly. We are extremely happy with the results. Luis communicated very well throughout the project and he was agreeable to all of our suggestions. We couldn't be more pleased. We will certainly hire him again for our next project.

    We Recommend Luis!

    The top 3 reasons we chose to work with Luis: 1. Competitive pricing 2. Scheduling was easy 3. Quality is outstanding Luis and his crew removed and replaced fencing, tore down unwanted structures, cleared debris and overgrown plants, and hauled everything away. That work alone was worth it. They then built a beautiful patio with proper drainage, stairs, a level hot tub pad, a level greenhouse pad with retaining wall, double-wide gates, and steps to the street to finally open up access to our yard from the front. If you are looking for a landscaper who will work with you and for you, you’ll find it with Luis and his crew.

    Outstanding!

    Luis first came into our orbit as the foreman for Barclay's Gardens and More, and outstanding company whose owner has since retired and passed on the torch to Luis. My spouse and I were so happy with Barclay's overhaul of our back yard -- pathways, retaining walls, regrading of the whole space, new grass, sprinkler modifications -- that we knew we had to work with Luis again when we decided on replacing our wood back deck with a paver patio. Luis and his assistants shined, doing beautiful, meticulous work very quickly. They augmented the patio with a wood privacy fence on the side and upgraded an existing gate. Luis knows his business inside and out, and comes up with creative solutions for any "problems" that may arise. His work ethic is exactly what one dreams of in a contractor; instead of saying "no" he finds a way. Heartily recommended!

    Great landscaping work from Luis!

    We needed some landscaping revisions done to our right-of-way and side yards; when we bought our house the ground there had been left untended and was overgrown with weeds. Luis worked with us to put together a plan, laying down weed barriers and adding a couple of trees and a combination of groundcover plants, bark and sod. He worked within our budget and finished up the project in just a few days. It looks great! Luis was fantastic to work with - a great guy all around, and we'll be giving him a call for future projects!

    Outstanding detail in design and execution

    Have had Luis complete several project (retaining wall, patio, fire pit, and walkway) and have been amazed at his level of craft and attention to details--all are way beyond my expectations. He's great at evaluating the work, communicating all along with all details, is efficient and tidy. Contractors like him are very rare and highly recommend him. He's just a great genuine human being and want small businesses like his to be wildly successful!

    Luis is awesome!

    We had worked with Luis previously when he was with Barkley garden, and didn’t hesitate to work with him when he went off on his own. Luis is very kind, conscientious, hard-working, and honest. He relandscaped our entire backyard, bringing in all the materials. We would hire him again!!
