Perfect German diner for this small German village! The service by Lauren was excellent! She seems to know exactly what to say to make you feel satisfied with the choices and has the perfect advice for complementary items. Perfect service. We ordered the Burger, with bacon and egg, and then got dessert. The burger was fantastic! Even though the meat was cooked well done, every ingredient was flavorful and satiating. I could taste individual flavors in every bite! For dessert, we got the carrot cake and marrion berry & peach pie with vanilla ice cream on the side. Both were so good 😊 👍🏻 This place will be my stopping point every time I'm in this gorgeous area of Oregon! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

    Adorable old-time restaurant with bar counter seating also. We popped in for the fresh hot cheese curds and soft yummy pretzels. Washed it down with a German beer. And the brown mustard dipping sauce was the best. Service was stellar. We did not save room for the carrot cake and got too distracted by the rest of this wonderful town and didn't go back. Next time!! And the clock!!! My favorite thing in Oregon.

    Very nice place, great food, booths tables, bar, fireplace. The burger was perfection, fries crispy, and turkey croissant was amazing. Breakfast through 11am, dinner starts at 4pm

    Delightful, first class experience. Excellent customer service and food. Huge, wonderful quality Reuben sandwich . . equally large and yummy German chocolate cake . . super fresh and tastey salad. Absolutely loved this place!

    When: Sat. April 12th, 8:15 am; party of 2 Adults. Very friendly and genuine service. We were greeted & seated promptly. The ambiance was a farm house country kitchen feel. The restaurant is large enough where all patrons can feel comfortable without rubbing elbows with others. There is ample street parking around the restaurant. Breakfast is served only on Weekends at this Mount Angel eatery. My wife had the Avocado Toast meal and she said it was one of the best Avocado Toast she has ever had. I had the hearty Lou's Farmer's Breakfast which is essentially everything in the kitchen except the kitchen sink. This meal was very filling and satisfying. The grilled Hash Browns had the perfect crispness with a flavorful buttery taste. We will definitely be back to Lou's.
