5-Star Review of Kelli’s Garden Design

Working with Kelli has been fantastic! The design process was far more simple than expected. We are out of our element here, so we didn't even know what to ask for. We knew we wanted something that looked great, was easy to care for/low maintenance, and featured native plants. We received back a design that was absolutely perfect! Her eye for details and clear expectations have ensured that the execution of our project was exactly as presented. Small changes (based on supply) were communicated clearly, but honestly, I would just defer to her recommendations - she just knows how to pull it all together. I can't wait to work on phase 2 - the backyard - with her!

We recently retained Kelli to design a new backyard for us that would transform our tired, bare, mostly dirt patch into a bird- and pollinator-friendly garden filled with color and with drought-resistant native plants suited to our local environment. Kelli did not disappoint us. She did not try to sell us on a design she wanted to use. Instead, at our first meeting with her she listened to what we had in mind, asked lots of questions, and explored options and alternatives. Only then did she develop a plan, one that satisfied our needs and wants, and our budget. Kelli gave us several options to achieve our goals. She explained that we could do the work ourselves, using her design and plant list as a guide, or hire a landscape contractor ourselves, or retain Kelli to provide design and contract management services. We chose the “soup to nuts” option, and we could not be happier. Kelli provided expert management of the project, and saved us both time and expenses (and damage to our backs) while respecting our role as the ultimate decision-maker when questions arose. We are very glad we chose Kelli for our backyard project. We have even retained her for a monthly visit to provide advice to us on maintaining and enhancing the landscaping for our entire property. Kelli’s design was incredible. She listened asked great questions was open to hearing what we wanted. She takes an incredible amount of time putting the plans together. It was exactly what we were hoping for a list of not only where everything goes but also how much and where to put it. Added bonus how to care for the plants once they are planted. Worth every penny
