I went into Hazella Bake Shop today and wow! I was not disappointed. Michael the owner was very welcoming and friendly. I got a ham and gruyere pastries, a blackberry cream cheese tart, and a lemon curd brioche bun, and a coffee Everything was delicious. The pastry was probably the most perfect pastry dough I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, buttery, flakey and soft. I will definitely be stopping in a lot more frequently now!
This place is amazing. I stopped in with my husband the other day, and got to meet the owner, Michael. Not only did he make me feel welcome, he treated us like an old friend; which doesn't even happen with my old friends! My husband had been bragging about this place when he stops in town, and so I finally got to see what the hype is about. The food is amazing and freshly made. I had a lovely cheese and leek tart and potato filled savory knish, and he had a chicken beirock and we shared a berry hand pie that came right put of the oven! Such friendly and caring staff, quick and thorough service... what more could you ask for? We'll definitely be back. Thank you for such a great eating experience! :)
