Annual Eye Exam for Cataract

Everything in October appointment completed in an efficient, timely manner. Only one glitch for me - I mentioned the third year persistence of the skin flap on lower right lid that I had noted to the doctor for the last 2 years. Once again I rec'd reassurance that the skin flap was nothing. Then, when at a dermatology appointment in November, the dermatologist wanted to know about the "suspicious" lower lid flap on a report the dermatology clinic had received from the eye doctor. That question caught me off guard because there had been no communication to me about the 3 year of the flap now having become suspicious. I called the vision office to discuss the eye doctor's note not having meshed with my memory of what was communicated to me at the October appointment. Doctor's assistant was made aware of my confusion over the note the dermatologist had brought to my attention.
