3-Star Review of BLENDED
BLENDED is a mixed bag. The first time I went...I had an okay experience. The girl working the front (natural blonde hair) looked at me straight in my face without saying anything for a good 20 seconds. She was kind of nonchalant when I ordered and just had a poor vibe and work ethic to me. I got a Dubai chocolate bar, Dubai strawberry cup and a couple of macarons. The chocolate bar was quite good, and the strawberry cup had potential to be good, but most of the strawberries were not ripe. I also enjoyed their macarons and appreciate some of the unique flavors they offer for them. The second time I went the service from a different girl (curly brunette hair with glasses) was so much better. She greeted me, was very polite, and you could tell was working hard to get orders out ASAP. I bought a NY Deli sandwich with pastrami and that was delicious! As a born/bred New Yorker, dare I say it was better than Katz Deli from NY which is famous for their pastrami sandwiches. I also loved their Chicken Caeser wrap but wish they offered it in sandwich bread. They make a really flavorful cheesy potato soup and it's very hot which I know most people appreciate. Lastly, I had their oat smoothie, which was pretty good, but nothing special. There are other places that make better smoothies. The issue is that it seems understaffed which means the sandwiches and smoothies can take a really long time to be prepared. I'm talking like 20-30 minutes depending on the day. I can tell the one girl I mentioned in the last paragraph is trying her best to get orders done quick, but it's unfair to her and customers to be that understaffed. I would go back, but definitely not if I am in a time crunch.
