5-Star Review of Behind The Door Property Consulting

Part of our garage ceiling fell in after a leak in the attic, with some additional staining in the garage and in an adjacent bedroom. Behind The Door came in and made it like nothing had ever happened! I couldn't believe how great everything looked, from the ceiling repairs to the paint jobs. Andrii did an amazing job with the repairs. Elijah and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with. Really great people who do really amazing work!

Richmond, KY We recently dealt with a significant water damage incident that affected a bathroom, bedroom, and hallway. Being completely new to the world of water mitigation and rebuilding, we were overwhelmed by the prospect of navigating insurance claims, project planning, and material selection. Thankfully, we hired Behind the Door, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Elijah was truly exceptional throughout the entire process. He acted as a true partner, providing much-needed guidance on how to stay within budget while still achieving the look we wanted. Even when we added a few extra items mid-project, Elijah ensured the timeline stayed on track and the costs remained transparent. He was always accessible, answered every question we had (no matter how small), and followed through on every single commitment. The craftsmanship and coordination were top-notch. Elijah seamlessly managed his internal team alongside various contractors for: • Drywall & Paint • Tile Installation • Carpet & Baseboards • General Finishing We also want to give a special shout-out to Mike and Dustin. They were consistently professional, courteous, and friendly. Having people in your home for a major rebuild can be disruptive, but they made the experience easy by being communicative and respectful of our space. The project was completed exactly when they said it would be and right on the budget we discussed. If you are looking for a team that is honest, skilled, and reliable, I highly recommend Behind the Door.

Behind the Door has been the primary crew on multiple homes I have flipped. Elijah and his team are all hardworking and trustworthy. I recommend them any chance I can and can’t speak highly enough of their character and their work. A company that prides itself on integrity in an industry that can often feel like integrity is lacking. I highly recommend.

Our mother fell and broke her hip, and we quickly learned that her bathroom was going to be hard for her to navigate after her surgery and rehabilitation. She was sent to a short term rehab facility so our turnaround time was very limited. I contacted Elijah, with Behind the Door Property Consulting, to see if it was possible to do the renovation in a very short period of time. He quickly assured me that they would do everything possible to make this happen before our mother was back home. They then immediately assessed what needed to be done and secured all products needed. The old bathtub, shower surround, commode, lighting, and storage cabinet were ripped out and replaced with a new walk-in shower, sliding doors, new commode, new lighting, and new mirrors for the wall. Not only was this entire process completed in less than a week, it was completed to perfection, including clean up. Our mother was surprised, overwhelmed, and so grateful to be able to come home and feel more safe navigating her bathroom. We would highly recommend Elijah and his team for any renovation needs!
