1-Star Review of Baxter Plumbing & Rooter Inc

Called them to my business today to help me fix a running toilet. Showed the guy exactly what was wrong and he told me that he didn't have the part and couldn't fix it. He said he would check to see how much the part cost and let me know what they COULD do. Returns with the outrageous $600 price tag on a part that I could get for $30. So I told him thank you, but no thank you. Proceeds to charge me $206 for "Diagnosis". I told him exactly what was wrong he didn't have to diagnose anything and didn't do anything at all except look on his phone for a part to see if they could even help me in the future. I am absolutely appalled, I feel like I was robbed. Even for a hourly rate that's insanely high. But for doing nothing at all is even more ludicrous. I paid him begrudgingly... but I will NEVER use them again and make sure no one I know does either. Literal highway robbery!!!
