Karime Hernandez Marrufo, CSWA

Clinical Social Worker Associate

Karime joined our Behavioral Health Team in July of 2024. She is a board certified clinical social worker associate. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Social Work degree in 2019 and a Masters in Social Work degree in 2024, both from Portland State University. She is also a certified DOULA and parenting educator and is fluent in English and Spanish. She takes a patient centered approach to therapy. Therapy approaches she utilizes are mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and she specializes in working with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression and life adjustments. In her spare time, Karime enjoys cooking, trying new foods, playing volleyball, bowling and spending time with her family and her dog named Merengue.
