“I was at Barnes Hospital for a couple of weeks before having my daughter, and they had craft Tuesdays. I remember thinking, 'No, I don't want to do it. This isn't camp!'” Suzie Quinton, the owner of Quintons Crafthouse, shared, recalling a pivotal moment in her crafting journey.
This experience ignited her passion for crafting, leading her to explore various creative avenues, including making shirts, laser engraving, and more. Suzie started making NICU caps for premature babies. “I make NICU caps and I donate them to Children's Hospitals,” Suzie states. The hospitals included Cardinal Glennon, Mercy, and a hospital in Kentucky. As of today, she has sent out well over 3000 NICU caps.
