Brooke Herbert’s journey with WaFd Bank began four years ago in the small town of Monmouth, where she started as a personal banker. Her dedication and passion for banking soon saw her entering the branch manager trainee program, which provided the perfect stepping stone for her career. After gaining valuable experience in Woodburn, Brooke found her home in North Salem two years ago, where she has since been leading the branch with enthusiasm and a deep commitment to her community.

Living and working in Keizer has given Brooke a deep appreciation for the local culture and community spirit. She enjoys the simplicity and charm of local activities, from attending and sponsoring Salem Capitals basketballl games in the summer to dining at beloved local eateries like Keizer’s Chicken Shack and Pho Keizer. “What I love is supporting local businesses and knowing that most places in Keizer are owned by local residents,” Brooke says with pride.

Outside of her professional life, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and their two-year-old corgi. Having recently purchased their first home in northeast Salem, they are relishing the joys of homeownership and getting to know the community around them.
