ABOUT OUR MARKET
Our Farmers Market is unique in the area as it is a Producer Only market which is a direct-to-consumer marketplace that is exclusively available for producers that raise, grow or make their own products. All items for sale at our market must be homegrown, handmade and/or vendor-created from locally-owned operations within the state of Oklahoma.
Free parking during market weekends is available around the perimeter of the Park and in the special event parking lot on the northwest corner of Oklahoma City Boulevard and Thunder Drive across from Paycom Center. (Parking in the lot is free on Saturdays from 7am – 2pm.)
The popular, drive-up loading zone on Oklahoma City Boulevard called the Veggie Valet will continue this season. Guests are invited to hold their packages at the Veggie Valet as they shop, and then pull their cars up for curbside package pickup.
The Farmers Market Information Tent is available for shoppers to visit with Park staff, purchase Scissortail Park merchandise, and find information on the nutrition assistance programs the market offers including Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Assistance Program (SFMNP), and Double Up Oklahoma (DUO).

Please join us in celebrating the 5th anniversary of Oklahoma City’s premiere downtown urban park, Scissortail Park, with our first-ever, CORE TO SHORE 5K!
When the Park opened in 2019, the City of Oklahoma City’s vision to connect the core of downtown to the shore of the Oklahoma River was realized. Over the last five years, Scissortail Park has become a key gathering place for the community and we are excited to add this new event to our annual calendar.
The certified course will follow the official CORE TO SHORE 5K route through Scissortail Park to experience our beautiful gardens, lake, playground, and engaging attractions.
Scissortail Park is a 70-acre urban oasis extending from the core of downtown Oklahoma City to the shore of the Oklahoma River. The 36-acre Upper Park and 34-acre Lower Park are now open, and the Skydance Bridge connects the two sections. The Upper Park includes amenities and spaces for programmed events, while the Lower Park was designed to be more reflective of the natural environment around Oklahoma City. Scissortail Park offers 70 acres of educational and recreational activities For Everyone.
