Community Spotlight: Nutrition World
At Nutrition World in Cabot, Arkansas, customers don’t just buy products—they receive personalized care, expert guidance, and education that empowers them to make the best choices for their health. Kenneth and Amanda Uhl, along with store manager Sarah Robertson, have built a business focused on helping people, not just selling products. This commitment to care and education sets Nutrition World apart from big-box stores and online retailers, making it a place where customers return for real solutions to their health needs.
“People can go to any big-box store and find some of the same products,” Kenneth acknowledges. “But what you won’t get is the education and personal guidance that we offer.”
The heart of this unique offering lies with store manager Sarah Robertson, whose commitment to helping customers goes far beyond simply stocking shelves. For Sarah and the team, it’s all about making sure customers understand what they’re buying and how it can benefit their specific needs.
Walking into a large store can often feel overwhelming when you’re confronted with countless bottles of vitamins, supplements, and powders. The Nutrition World experience, however, is entirely different. Instead of being left to figure it all out on your own, Sarah and the team make it their mission to engage with every customer, understand their health concerns, and provide expert advice on what would work best for them.

“There’s not someone educating them, which is what Nutrition World does best—educate you on what can help,” Kenneth said. “If you’re coming in and looking for that trending thing, it might not be here, it might not be the best option. We have the people who are going to point you to the overlooked items that might do the same thing for you.” Whether it’s blood sugar control, weight loss, or immune support, the Nutrition World staff takes the time to explain how products work, offering tips on how to get the most out of every supplement.
This isn’t something you’ll find in a big-box store where you’re left to rely on packaging and marketing claims. At Nutrition World, the goal is deeper. Nutrition World’s emphasis on education isn’t just about telling people what to take—it’s about offering a personal level of care that resonates with every customer. Sarah recounted a powerful story about a customer with cancer who was looking for relief. “We had a customer who came in with a tumor the size of a softball on his face. One of the things we recommended was castor oil and frankincense oil, used topically. After a very short time, the tumor shrunk… The doctor even called him a miracle,” Sarah said.
This kind of personalized care and guidance is a big reason why customers keep coming back to Nutrition World. Kenneth and Amanda emphasize that their focus goes beyond just making sales. Their goal is to serve as a resource for the community, providing options that customers might not find elsewhere.
At Nutrition World, there’s a strong focus on making sure customers have access to high-quality, lesser-known products that can make a real difference in their health. “People can find the trending products like collagen or turmeric almost anywhere, but what they don’t always get is the information on how to use them properly for maximum benefit,” Sarah said. For example, she explained that taking collagen at different times of the day can yield different results. “We make sure people understand how to use products in the best way for their individual goals.”
In addition to the popular items, Nutrition World stocks hidden gems like milk thistle, which is excellent for liver support, and trace minerals, which are often overlooked but essential for overall health. “Milk thistle is something a lot of people don’t think about, but it’s great for anyone taking supplements like creatine or protein. It helps cleanse the liver and makes sure your body is functioning at its best,” Kenneth shared. These hidden gems are often missed in larger stores, where education and guidance are harder to come by.
Sarah also mentioned that parasite cleanses, something that has fallen out of regular use in modern times, are gaining renewed interest. “Back in the day, our grandparents used to do parasite cleanses regularly, but it’s something that’s become less common. Now, with everything we’re exposed to in our food and environment, we’re seeing more people come in asking about it,” she explained.
One of the most overwhelming parts of health and wellness is knowing where to start. With so many options, it’s easy to feel lost. Nutrition World takes the pressure off by offering a step-by-step approach that caters to each customer’s unique needs. “When you come in here for the first time, you’re working on your starting line… Let’s focus on this part first and we can add on to it and see how that works,” Sarah said.
What makes Nutrition World truly special is the personal connection the team builds with their customers. While many stores focus on quick sales or trending products, Nutrition World focuses on what matters most—helping people live healthier lives through education and personalized care.
“Something that we try to do is help with consumer education,” Sarah said. “We’ve got some companies that are really big on brochures and pamphlets, and regardless of what product they’re taking home, they’re just giving you good information about magnesium, for example. So, helping to educate those people, encouraging them to, when they leave here, not just take my word for it, but go home and learn about it.”
This dedication to customer service is what sets Nutrition World apart from large chains and online retailers. Kenneth, Amanda, and Sarah are committed to making sure every customer who walks through the door gets the care and guidance they deserve.
Nutrition World’s connection to the Cabot community is another vital aspect of its success. Over the years, the store has become a hub for health-conscious individuals who want more than just a product—they want a partner in their wellness journey. “We’ve sponsored Peewee football teams, donated to veterans, and we’re going to be part of events like the Cabot Christmas Open House,” Kenneth shared.
Looking ahead, Kenneth, Amanda, and Sarah see Nutrition World continuing to serve as a trusted resource for Cabot and the surrounding areas. “I don’t want to have a bigger store,” Kenneth said. “I just want people to be able to come here, get what they need… I want everybody in the central area to be able to come to Nutrition World and find exactly what they need.”
Sarah echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of education. “We want to resolve the root cause, why you get the flu at the same time every year, why you break out in a rash, whatever it is,” Kenneth said. “Going to the doctor and getting the prescription is great for a lot of things, but it’s also a quick fix. I’m not against doctors because I do attend one, but there are things you can do for your immune system.”
