Community Spotlight: Salt & Light Wellness Center

In Cabot, Arkansas, where community and innovation meet, Salt and Light Wellness Center offers a refreshing approach to health and wellness. Founded by Tina Harris, this center provides an array of therapies designed to heal the body from within. From IV drips to red light therapy, their mission is to address root causes and promote overall wellness.

Harris’ journey into holistic wellness began with a personal health crisis. After suffering from a vaccine injury that triggered an autoimmune response, Harris explored various holistic treatments. “I was determined to go down a holistic path to try to help ease my symptoms,” she recalls. “I had a vaccine injury from the COVID vaccine. I went to doctor after doctor, but they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. It triggered an autoimmune response in my body, and they thought I had rheumatoid arthritis. I started researching and found that red light therapy, cryotherapy, and IV drips really helped my symptoms.”

She continues, “I got to a point where I could barely walk across the room without being in pain. My husband and I were selling our other business, and it gave me the opportunity to open this up. I know a lot of people were going through the same thing that I was. We have just evolved from there, trying to help people with vaccine injuries or even those who had COVID and have lingering issues.”

The center provides a variety of innovative treatments. One notable offering is the Ozone Therapy, which has shown promising results in clients, especially those with post-COVID conditions. Harris shares, “We’re the only ones here in central Arkansas that are doing ozone IV therapy. When my blood was drawn for the first time, it was so thick that it wouldn’t even go back in me. Now, after several treatments, my blood flows normally. We’re seeing amazing results, not just for me but for many of our clients.”

Another standout service is the Ovation ULT (Red Light Bed), which aids in skin rejuvenation, pain relief, and overall health improvement. The infrared sauna dome, oxygen bar, and vibration plate are just a few of the other state-of-the-art treatments available. Each therapy aims to detoxify the body, reduce inflammation, and enhance well-being. “The red light bed helps with so many issues, from improving brain health and cognitive performance to reducing pain and inflammation. It’s incredible to see the difference it makes in people’s lives.”

One of the most compelling stories comes from a client named Tamara Collins. She began visiting Salt and Light for fibromyalgia treatment and experienced significant improvement. “I was just curious because I drive by every day, and I said, ‘OK, I’m gonna look it up,’ and I came in and talked to Tina,” she said. “It makes me feel a lot better.”

Harris’ dedication to holistic health extends beyond personal care. “I wanted to make these treatments accessible and affordable. This isn’t about making money; it’s about helping people,” she explains. “When I was sick, I told God that if He pulled me through this, I would open a place where I could get the therapies that were helping me and also help others. And that’s what I’m doing. We offer these treatments at a lesser rate because I want to change people’s lives in a better way.”

Looking ahead, Salt and Light Wellness Center plans to expand its offerings, including high-dose vitamin C and alternative cancer treatments. “We hope to help even more people within the next year,” says Harris. “We’re starting to offer treatments for cancer, like high-dose vitamin C and ozone therapy. We want to provide alternatives to traditional treatments and help people who are looking for other options.”

For those seeking a holistic approach to health, Salt and Light Wellness Center is a beacon of hope and healing in Cabot. As Harris puts it, “We’re here to change people’s lives for the better. Seeing the difference we’re making in our clients’ lives is the most rewarding part of my job.”
