For nearly 16 years, Bliss Salon & Boutique has been a go-to destination for locals in Searcy looking for expert hair care and stylish boutique shopping all in one place. Owned and operated by Paige Norman, Bliss has grown from a small salon in a strip mall to a full-service beauty haven in its very own building—an evolution Paige couldn’t have imagined when she first started.
Right out of college, Paige found herself wanting to stay in the area and looking for work. When her mother’s hairstylist mentioned that she was selling her salon, it sparked an idea. Paige decided to take the plunge, purchasing the salon and later adding a boutique to expand its offerings.
In its early years, Bliss Salon operated out of a leased spot in a local strip mall. However, after a decade of hard work and dedication, Paige made a big move that would forever change the trajectory of her business: purchasing a building for the salon and boutique.
“Moving into this building was probably my most memorable experience,” Paige reflected. “I went from leasing a spot to owning my own building and getting to fix it up. It was a huge step forward.”
That move has allowed Bliss Salon to grow, not only in size but in reputation. Over the past 12 years at its current location, Paige and her team have cultivated a loyal following in Searcy. Clients come not only for top-tier haircuts and styling but also for the boutique’s handpicked selection of clothing and accessories.
As the holiday season approaches, Bliss Salon is gearing up for what Paige says is one of their busiest times of the year. With the Christmas Open House just around the corner, customers can expect exciting sales and promotions during this festive event, a highlight of the salon’s yearly calendar.
“The holiday season is definitely our busiest,” Paige explained. “It’ll kick up here in the next couple of weeks, especially with our Christmas Open House.”
This annual event draws in a large crowd, not only from Searcy but from surrounding towns as well. Paige’s clients often come from nearby areas, thanks to her reputation for excellent service and the unique experience her salon offers. Whether they’re shopping for new clothes or getting their hair styled for the holidays, Bliss Salon has become a one-stop shop for many in the community.
After almost 16 years in business, Paige remains passionate about what she does. While the salon has grown and evolved over the years, her commitment to providing a welcoming environment and high-quality service has never wavered.
