Community Spotlight: Beauty Boss Co.

When Kayla Sanders launched Beauty Boss Co. Aesthetics & Wellness in 2021, she wasn’t just starting a business—she was transforming how people view and access medical aesthetics and wellness. In a field often seen as reserved for celebrities or those with a hefty bank account, Sanders wanted to create something entirely different: an approachable, affordable space where clients could receive personalized, natural enhancements and whole-body care.

Sanders’ passion for both medicine and aesthetics started long before she opened her doors in Cabot, Arkansas. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a certification in Family Practice, she worked in a variety of settings, from public service clinics to private practice, before moving into medical aesthetics in 2016. However, it wasn’t until 2021 that she decided to open her own business, Beauty Boss Co., after realizing she wanted to change the direction of aesthetics.

“For years, there’s been a misunderstanding of aesthetics and a stigma attached to it that there really shouldn’t be,” Sanders explains. “People think it’s for the rich and famous or that it will make them look unnatural. But that’s not true. Aesthetics can be for anyone—it’s about feeling like the best version of yourself.”

Sanders’ personal journey plays a central role in the philosophy behind Beauty Boss Co. Having grown up in a family full of healthcare professionals, Sanders was inspired to pursue nursing early on, but her path to medical aesthetics was shaped by her love for connecting with people. “I really liked my patients to be awake to talk to me,” she jokes about her early aspirations of becoming a nurse anesthetist. “Building relationships with people was always the part I enjoyed the most.”

This focus on relationships is evident in every aspect of her business. Sanders and her team prioritize patient care, making each client feel like they are the most important person in the room. From the initial consultation to the ongoing treatments, her goal is to provide natural enhancements that make clients feel more confident in their own skin.

“We want you to look like you because you’re beautiful. If there’s something that bothers you, let’s enhance that or get you to a point where that is no longer a focus of yours, something you feel is a flaw.”

While medical spas are becoming more common, Beauty Boss sets itself apart with its focus on wellness services, particularly in hormone optimization and women’s health. Offering treatments like hormone replacement therapy and the O-Shot, Sanders ensures that Beauty Boss isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about total body wellness.

“A lot of people don’t realize how much hormone optimization can change their lives,” she says. “Whether it’s thyroid issues, post-menopausal symptoms, or just a general feeling of imbalance, our hormone treatments can make a huge difference in how people feel day-to-day.”

One client story that stands out to Sanders involves a woman struggling with incontinence for years after having her third child. “She came back to us three days after one Morpheus8V procedure, and was in tears. She said, ‘I haven’t had to wear one (pad) since my procedure.’”

Beauty Boss has quickly gained a reputation for not only its unique services but also the level of personalized care Sanders and her team provide. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach here. From injectables like Botox and Dysport to more advanced regenerative treatments like PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) and liquid lipo, Sanders ensures that each client receives a customized plan designed to meet their specific needs.

“People really appreciate the honesty,” she says. “I’d rather lose this whole hour or hour and a half, whatever appointment slot, and have you do nothing with me than to do the wrong treatment on you today. It’s about long-term results and helping people feel good about themselves, not just taking their money.”

Sanders’ dedication to her clients extends beyond the clinic. Beauty Boss staff regularly follow up with clients after their treatments to ensure everything is going well and that they’re satisfied with the results. “Customer service doesn’t stop when they walk out the door,” Sanders adds. “We want to make sure everyone is happy with their experience here.”

Just three years after opening, Beauty Boss Co. is already expanding. The clinic is set to open a second location in Sherwood, AR, in October 2024, to meet the growing demand for its services. While the business is growing, Sanders is committed to maintaining the same personalized care and attention that has made Beauty Boss Co. a success.

“Sometimes companies get too big and lose sight of the real priority, which is actually taking care of people,” she says. “We’ve built something special here, and I want to continue that as we expand.”

With a focus on both aesthetics and wellness, Beauty Boss Co. is poised to continue making a positive impact on its clients’ lives, helping them look and feel their best. Whether it’s a hormone treatment that restores balance or a non-invasive procedure that boosts confidence, Sanders and her team are committed to delivering the best possible care.
